Breakout Talk

Let's just say combatting breakouts is mighty difficult... I recently had the un-pleasurable experience to deal with a few mainly around my forehead area. It may have been because I love reading blogs and trying out new products which probably my skin couldn't handle so it resulted in my skin going crazy and to my surprise breaking out. I am not usually prone to breakouts so I was taken back when I saw a few forming on my forehead. I totally stripped out my old routine and created a new one that has left me with amazing results which is what I want to share with you today.

La Roche-Posay- Toleriane:

I cleanse with this in the mornings to remove any impurities. This stuff is extremely gentle which is great because it doesn't at all feel like its stripping any moisture from the skin. I massage this in with a gentle circular motion and rinse away. (Available at Boots 200ml £11.00)

Embryolisse- Lait- Crème Concentre:

I then moisturise with this super nourishing moisturiser morning and evening. This is designed for all skin types and really helps to balance the skin out. I have previously reviewed this amazing moisturiser which can be viewed here. (Available at Space NK 75ml £20.00)

Botanics- All Bright Eye Roll-On:

I use this eye roll on morning and evening I haven't really noticed any brightening effects but it does feel very refreshing and cool upon application. It also helps with moisturising the under eyes as soon as I apply this my under eyes look refreshed and moisturised. (Available at Boots 15 ml £8.99)

The Body Shop- Camomile Silky Cleansing Oil:

I use this cleanser in the evening and gently massage it in to the skin. This is definitely one of my favourite oil cleansers it can break down the heaviest eye make-up within seconds if massaged in gently. Its everything an oil cleanser should be in a bottle. It breaks down impurities effortlessly and leaves no residue after use. Another one designed for all skin types. (Available at The Body Shop 200ml £10.00)

The Body Shop- Tea Tree Skin Clearing Toner:

This really feels like its doing something alright! After my evening cleansing ritual I spill some of this toner on to a cotton pad and sweep away it removes any left over impurities and feels like its really clearing out the skin. What I love about this cleanser is the fact that its infused with tamanu oil which is great for its healing properties. This toner can be slightly drying on its own so I'll make sure I slap on some embryolisse moisturiser as its so good with its balancing properties! (Available at The Body Shop 250ml £5.00)
