With the winter a cold is almost guaranteed. Endless sneezing, congested nasal and one hell of a heavy head.. Yup I have had my fair share of a cold this winter. Its only been a few days where I have started to feel like myself again. I was sure to put most things on hold before I recovered and took time out to relax and rewind. Here's a few skincare bits that have saved me from looking rather ghostly.
Liz Earle Skin Repair Moisturiser:
Liz Earle is slowly becoming a firm favourite that's for sure. This moisturiser was a first timer and it worked really well for me. Slathering this on morning and evening has helped sooth and moisturise my skin like no other. It contains a handful of moisturising ingredients such as borage oil a source of fatty acids, natural anti-oxidants, echinacea, vitamin E and avocado oil. (Available at John Lewis 50ml £20.25)
Clarins Eye Contour Gel:
Dark circles appear even more exaggerated with a cold. And sometimes we just need that extra moisture under the eyes to help reduce puffiness and brighten everything up. This blue gel formula is gentle, cooling and lightweight it almost feels as if you have nothing on but does not fail to provide the hydration needed. (Available at John Lewis 20ml £30.00)
Nuxe Reve De Miel Lip Balm:
This is probably one of my favourite lip products out there! To me this seems like more of a lip treatment because of how concentrated and rich this stuff is. It contains honey, plant oils, shea butter and grapefruit essence. The rich matte formula provides the perfect amount of comfort and care needed. ( Available at Space NK 15ml £9.50)
